Menu 44 hari

Seminggu selepas deliver PIL dah balik M'sia so, everything kene urus sendiri. Tak leh nak manja2 pantang kali nih. Since En. Suami tak reti nak masak, oleh itu kite pun masak la sendiri. Dier pun tak kisah nak makan menu org dlm pantang, senang msk sekali.

Bile kite masak, En. Suami uruskan anak2. Hana plak jenis nk tido berpegang je time siang mmg kelam kabut jgk lah. Bahan2 tuk masak kite siapkan awal simpan dlm bekas masuk fridge. Bawang, sayur2 sumer dah potong n basuh siap2. Time nk masak tinggal campak2 je. Satu, jimat masa memasak. Dua, kurangkan pegang air. Time dlm pantang nih tak leh sejuk2 kene air selalu nanti badan sejuk tak elok.Lagi2 dgn cuaca kt Canberra nih yg sgt tak menentu.

Kite tak la pantang strict sgt. Masa 1st baby dulu Mak yg jaga pun tak strict sgt. Lagi2 Mak nurse so takde la sgt nk pantang mkn nih. Kata Mak, semua buah2an n sayur2an is vitamin, kalau mkn lg cepat sihat. Cumanya kalau boleh elakkan makanan yg sejuk, berangin dan berbisa je takut baby tak tahan. Contohnya tembikai, kubis, ubi2, labu, ikan keli, pari dan yang seangkatan dgnnya.

Antara menu 44 hari dalam pantang yg kite masak dan makan...

1 week overdue

Hai lah menunggu si kecik nih nk keluar mmg la menduga keimanan. Ke mana2 je semua org menegur 'aik tak bersalin lg??' smpai lemau dah nk jawab.

Next check up is one week after the EDD, 10/2/12. Kali nih terus jmpe doctor kt birth suite. CTG, ultrasounds and vaginal exam: baby in good condition, not engaged yet but, what makes us worried is the baby's head is not exactly at the centre of my vagina. Dibuatnye kalau air ketuban pecah, byk kemungkinan akan berlaku sama ada tali pusat or something else yg akan keluar and need to go for emergency c-sect. For that reason, I was admitted. Doctor tak kasi balik diorang nak monitor sampai the next day.

Malam tu, zikir Nabi Yunus tak lekang di mulut sambil pujuk adik baby. Mudah-mudahan semuanya selamat..

The next day, pagi2 lg doctor datang check. And the result...alhamdulillah baby's head is on my vagina, baby's heartbeat is good and I can discharge. Doctor masih bagi peluang tuk normal delivery till next Monday. Tp, in case kalau tak keluar jugak adik baby nih, on Monday, 13/2/12 at 4pm, we already made appointment for induction. Huhu cuak gilos mummy.

Jogging sekitar tasik konon nk bagi cepat bersalin.

Bermanja-manja dgn ibu mertua :p

This time confinement mak mertua yang nak jaga. 2 bulan PIL duk sini. Memang lah kalau mak sendiri jaga lagi selesa, cumanya tak nak menyusahkan mak sebab diorang baru je dtg few months ago rasa bersalah plak kalau nak suh dtg lg. Lagipun, sejak setahun kitorang kt sini, PIL blom dtg menjenguk. Kebetulan la time nih diorang nk dtg.

Sebelum bersalin nih, rasa nak melantak ape aje yg bakal tak leh mkn time pantang nanti. Maklum la, mak mertua ade nak masakkan. Rasanya kite kot yg request lebih compare to anak dier :p. Asam pedas, tempoyak udang, sambal ikan bilis, kuah durian dgn roti jala, pie tee dan macam2 lagi.. macam balik m'sia sekejap hehehe...

Semua org tanya, ok ke duk dgn mertua. Jawapannya... alhamdulillah setakat ni ok and sgtlah ok. Mungkin kite antara yg bernasib baik dan bertuah sebab dpt mertua yg sgt baik. Malah tak byk beza dgn mak ayah sendiri.

Hampir 2 tahun duduk serumah dgn mertua. Alhamdulillah semua ok je. Sampaikan sekarang pun, diorang nak jaga kite dalam pantang. Alhamdulillah sgt2. Terima kasih byk2 to mak n ayah...

Berkulat sudah....

Salam semua....

Its been a while since i left this so called my tempat merapu. And...its been 37 weeks of my 2nd pregnancy. 3 more weeks to go huh. Pejam celik pejam celik kejap je mase berlalu. Daripada 1st trimester yg menyeksakan sampailah ke 3rd trimester yg menduga keimanan.

This time, morning sickness lebih teruk dr first pregnancy. Dah la teruk lame plak tuh. Totally ok bile nk masuk 5th month. Haru sungguh la. Tu la org ckp, lain anak lain pulak pembawakannye sabar je lah..

Masuk 7 bulan, buat glucose test, positive gestational diabetes plak. Amik kau kene buat finger pricks hari2. Dah agak dah sebab first pregnancy dulu memang ade so chances tuk ade lg this time mmg tinggi. Cumanya kt sini agak strict. Diorang monitor betul2. Siap bg test kit lg suh check everyday kt rumah. First week boleh la layan. Hari2 lepas mkn, tgk jam then cucuk. Siap ade buku rekod OKEY!!! Lepas seminggu tgk reading mcm ok je walau mkn byk mane pun so ape lg mengelat la. Rase mcm nak check, baru check. Bile nak gi check up baru menggagau fill in the blank.



Sedikit tentang Gestational Diabetes:
Gestational diabetes (or gestational diabetes mellitus, GDM) is a condition in which women without previously diagnosed diabetes exhibit high blood glucose levels during pregnancy (especially during third trimester of pregnancy). Diabetes develops when the body can't produce enough insulin (insulin deficiency), or produces a normal amount of insulin but the body’s tissue does not respond normally to the insulin (insulin resistance). Insulin is a hormone made by the pancreas, which regulates the amount of sugar available in the blood for energy, and enables any sugar that isn't immediately required to be stored. During pregnancy your body has to produce extra insulin to meet your baby's needs and your body becomes naturally more insulin resistant, especially from mid-pregnancy onwards. If your body can't produce enough insulin or develops too much insulin resistance, you will have too much sugar in your blood and may develop gestational diabetes. Gestational diabetes usually resolves itself after your baby is born. However, if you have had gestational diabetes in one pregnancy, you are more likely to get it again in future pregnancies. You are also at a greater risk of developing Type 2 diabetes later in life and you will need to be regularly screened by your doctor throughout your life. You can reduce the risk of developing Type 2 diabetes by paying attention to what you eat and how much exercise you get. Pesanan khidmat masyarakat dari my GP "...you must NOT get fat OK!"  sigh...
